Privacy notice

How Admintelecom Academy collects, uses and protects the personal information you give us through this website.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Who we are

This website, admintelecomacademy.com, is run by Admintelecom Academy, a telecom training school based at East Legon, Adjiringanor, opposite Allied Petrol Station (Trasaco Street), Accra, Ghana. We are part of Admincity Group of Companies, which also includes Admintelecom Ghana and Admincity Agency.

We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). When we say "we" or "us" in this notice, we mean Admintelecom Academy.

What we collect, and why

We collect only what you choose to give us on our forms, and only to deal with the request you have made.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic, an optional subject and your message. We use these to reply to you.
  • Course application form: your name, email address, phone number, optional city or town, education level, start date, telecom experience and how you heard about us, the course you choose, an optional message and an optional CV. We use these to consider your application and to contact you about it.
  • Tech Summer Field Training application form: your name, email address, phone number, optional city or town, your age group, your school, college or university and study level (both optional) and an optional message. If you are under 18, we also collect your parent or guardian's name and phone number, and their agreement to the application. We use these to consider your application and to contact you, or your parent or guardian, about it.
  • WhatsApp: if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number, your name on WhatsApp and what you send us.

On the application forms you are asked to tick a box to agree that we may use your details for this purpose. You may withdraw that agreement at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Please do not send us information we do not need, such as identity card numbers, bank details or health information, unless we ask for it.

Admincity Agency (optional)

On the course application form there is an optional tick box asking whether you would like our sister company, Admincity Agency, to keep your details so it can suggest job opportunities after your training. If you do not tick it, we do not pass your application to Admincity Agency. If you do, your details and CV are shared with Admincity Agency for that purpose, and its own privacy notice on adminagency.com.gh explains how it handles them. You can withdraw this agreement at any time.

How your information is handled

This website has no database and no user accounts. When you send a form, the website turns it into an email and sends it to our admissions mailbox. The website does not keep a copy of your message or your CV. The copy that reaches us stays in our email, where only the staff who need it can read it.

This website is hosted by Infomaniak, a Swiss hosting provider, and our email also runs on Infomaniak's mail service. Infomaniak processes your information for us as our service provider.

Some of the services described below are run by companies outside Ghana. We use them only for the purposes explained here.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only:

  • with our admissions staff and the trainers who need it to deal with your request;
  • with our service providers, such as Infomaniak (hosting and email), Google (reCAPTCHA, and Google Maps if you open the map) and YouTube (if you play the video);
  • with Admincity Agency, but only if you tick the optional box described above; and
  • where the law requires us to, for example when a court or authority asks.

Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

To stop automated spam, our forms use Google reCAPTCHA. It checks whether the person using the form is real. To do this, reCAPTCHA reads some information from your browser and device, such as your IP address and how you interact with the page, and may use cookies or similar storage. Google receives this information and uses it under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The check is only loaded on pages that have a form.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies, and it has no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Your browser keeps a small temporary note, which is deleted when you close the tab, so the page transition does not play twice in a row. It is never sent to us.

The map on our contact page and the documentary video are not loaded until you choose to show or play them. When you do, Google Maps or YouTube loads and may set cookies; the video is played from YouTube's privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com). If you use the WhatsApp button or follow a link to another website, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Like all web servers, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and the time. This is used to keep the website secure and running, and is deleted by the provider after a period set by them.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiries and applications only for as long as we need them for the reason you gave them to us: for example, while we deal with your enquiry or your application, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you ask about it again. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

How we protect it

  • The website works over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
  • Forms are protected against spam and abuse, and limit how many messages can be sent in a short time.
  • Uploaded CVs are checked, and only PDF and Word (.docx) files are accepted.
  • Only staff who need your information to deal with your request can read it.

No system is completely secure, so please do not send us anything you would not want us to have.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information, or stop using it, where we no longer need it; and
  • stop using your information if you object, or if you withdraw the agreement you gave us.

To do any of these, email info@admintelecomacademy.com or call +233 54 022 0330. Tell us which form you used and the email address you used on it, so that we can find your information. We may need to confirm that you are the person concerned before we share or change anything.

If you are not happy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Young people

Tech Summer Field Training is open to students, some of whom are under 18. If you are under 18, please use only the Tech Summer application form, where a parent or guardian must give their name and phone number and agree to the application. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian's agreement. If you think a child has sent us information without that agreement, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
